Lake design

The free space behind the pit lane was perfect for the design of a lake. First, I glued 3 sheets of tracing paper ursus water on white 160g / qm construction paper and then  to the plywood board. In order to achieve a certain optical depth, I bought from Noch the wild grass mat in the colours green and brown. Then I cutted the wild grass mat, to create the shape of the lake. The surrounding area was then covered with a normal grass mat. Finally I have decorated the area with deco moss, aquatic plants, a dragon stone from the hardware store and a few trees.
